Kenya's Loisaba Conservancy: Land Connected, Life Protected
Supporting good causes is part of our DNA.
Loisaba Conservancy in Laikipia County, northern Kenya, provides a critical wildlife movement corridor between Laikipia, Samburu and Isiolo counties.
Due to its location and mission, Loisaba Conservancy has ensures livelihood security for neighbouring communities through the provision of employment, access to dry season grazing, livestock husbandry expertise and the proactive promotion of peace and security.
The conservancy, covering 58,500 acres, holds permanent water sources and well managed grasslands.
This is another example of how the team at Lantern helped a client to demonstrate its work supporting local communities. The story was used on social media to change perceptions of the conservancy and the way it collaborates with various people to deliver services on the ground.
